HR Support

Level 4

In this position, HR professionals are often either HR Managers in smaller organisations or HR Professionals working in medium- to large-sized organisations as part of the HR function providing front-line support to managers and employees. Working on a variety of HR processes, from transactional to fairly complex, from recruitment through retirement, using HR systems to keep records, giving the business pertinent HR information, and collaborating with the business on HR changes are all likely to be part of their daily responsibilities.They will typically be responsible for giving managers counsel that is compliant and where errors could subject the organisation to employment tribunals or legal liability. They will do this by using corporate policy and current law to address a wide variety of HR concerns. They might also be in charge of leading a small team in a bigger organisation, but this obligation falls outside the purview of this apprenticeship and will need to be handled separately by the employer.
